Our Story
Born in Australia, trusted globally
PCT Agcloud's origins date back to 2001 as a consultancy in rural New South Wales, Australia, originally (and still is!) known as Precision Cropping Technologies (PCT). PCT successfully provided bespoke solutions for large and innovative growers across Australia.
As early as 2004, PCT began working on projects related to landforming, water management, and assessing impacts on yield and productivity. Soon, the team also identified the need for a precision ag software to manage, clean, and analyze data securely.
These projects have evolved over time to spawn T3RRA and PCT Agcloud.
Today, PCT Agcloud offers a comprehensive suite of cloud-based precision agriculture solutions, working with precision ag specialists, agronomists, equipment dealers and agricultural machinery brands.

Our History
From our early days in precision ag consultancy, we have evolved into an internationally-renowned software provider that provides value to agronomists, OEM dealers and manufacturers, and large-scale growers.
2023
PCT Agcloud enters into global allied agreement with John Deere to provide insights to smallgrain and cotton growers through Protein Pro and Linked CottonTM.
2022
Optimization of PCT Agcloud by adding advanced features. New data science team engaged to develop machine learning capabilities
2017
PCT introduces PCT Agcloud, a web-based agronomic data management and solutions platform, replacing VA Gateway.
PCT also acquires Satamap, a web-based platform for viewing and analysing satellite imagery available anywhere in the world.
2016
PCT launches a major project to create the second generation of cloud-based solutions.
2014
2014 marked the transition to cloud-based solutions. PCT began working with Agworld on the US opportunities with more focus on agronomy.
2011
PCT introduces Terracutta, a software product designed to iprove the capabilities of John Deere's iGradeTM system. PCT began supplying Terracutta to John Deere dealers worldwide. Terracutta later evolved to T3RRA as a separate company.
2010
VA Gateway was introduced to the market.
Following success in Australia, PCT began servicing VRI in the US.
2007
PCT began software development for desktop
2004
PCT began working with John Deere on projects related to landforming, water management, and assessing impacts on yield and productivity.
The company quickly became recognized as experts in terrain-based water management.
2001
PCT founded by four agronomists, growers and PA experts in Narrabri, New South Wales, Australia . Focus on yield data, soil and terrain analytics. Back then, we were using an off-the-shelf software.
